Beach music lovers will descend upon Ocean Drive in North Myrtle Beach on May 3 for the 8th听annual Ocean Drive Beach Music Festival.
This year, festivalgoers will get their first chance to see the nationally-known California Honeydrops who are making their first appearance in the area.
Also taking the stage for this year鈥檚 event are beach music favorites the Band of Oz and Jim Quick and Coastline. The emcees will be DJ Chad Sain and on-air personalities from 94.9 the Surf radio.
The festival takes place in the parking lot between 1st听Avenue South and Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and attendees may bring coolers up to 48 quarts and chairs. No glass or pets will be allowed in the festival area.
