A funeral service for Freddie H. Graham, 87, will be held April 26 at 11 a.m. in Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Connor and the Rev. John Holmes officiating.聽Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Graham passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 21, 1938 in Conway, he was the son of the late Thomas D. and Ruth Russ Graham. He was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church, and for well over 50 years of his life, he served the church and the Lord in various roles including church deacon, Sunday school teacher and church treasurer.

He owned and managed NAPA Auto Parts in Aynor for most of his life, and upon retirement, he worked with Graham Golf Cars until his health prevented him from working.聽

Mr. Graham grew up in Conway and graduated from Conway High School in 1956. After graduation, he joined the US Navy, and proudly served his country from 1956-1960 during peacetime.

Mr. Graham was best known for his love for his family, his love for the Aynor and Conway communities, his love for his church, his love for sports and his love for all things South Carolina Gamecocks. 聽

He enjoyed and faithfully supported Aynor sports, and he found much joy in sharing his time and mentoring the youth of the area.聽He closely followed his daughters and grandsons in their various sports and activities.

Faithful servant best describes Mr. Graham as he devoted his life to his Lord, his family, his faith and his work.聽He never turned away from sharing special moments in his church or celebrating holidays and special occasions with his family.

He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Holden Graham; five brothers, Tom Graham Jr., Billy Joe Graham, Jimmy Graham, Charlie Graham and Phillip Graham; and two sisters, Peggy Graham Holmes and Margie Graham.聽

Surviving Mr. Graham are his two daughters, Christi Graham (Wendell) of Aynor and Cheri Lewis (Mike) of Little River; three grandsons, Luke Graham (Carson Faye) of Aynor, Spencer Lewis of Little River and Ben Lewis of Little River; one great-grandson, Brooks Thomas Graham; five nephews, Joe Graham, Mike Graham (Crystal), Russell Graham (Sandy), Andy Graham (Dena) and Russ Graham; three nieces, Robyn Ryan (Patrick), Suzi Griggs (Dean) and Kelli Cantey (Steve); two sisters-in-law, Lynda Graham and Becky Graham; and numerous great- nephews, great-nieces and close friends in the community, who were very special to him.聽聽

The family would like to thank Nell Johnson, the staff of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare and the physicians, nurses and therapists at Conway Medical Center, and through the region, for the exceptional care they provided for Mr. Graham throughout his life and illness.

The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home of Aynor April 25 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and following the service in the church fellowship hall.聽
