Actor Kevin Costner tees off on the second hole at a Wednesday pro-am round ahead of the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic on May 7, 2025.

The stars were out and about in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday morning, May 7, as the celebrity pro-am event ahead of the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic kicked off at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.

Among the celebrities present for the round were actors Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Rob Riggle and Bill Murray.聽

Others in attandence included North Myrtle Beach native Vanna White, actress Jennie Garth from Beverly Hills, 90210 fame, actor Michael Pe帽a and former New York Yankees baseball star Nick Swisher.

Riggle, known for his roles in movies like Step Brothers and The Hangover and stints on NBC's Saturday Night Live, is also a former U.S. Marine who was stationed in North Carolina. He says he is plenty familiar with Myrtle Beach and was excited to play alongside Russell and Costner.

"We used to take road trips down here on long weekends to play a lot of golf,鈥 Riggle said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a while, because now I鈥檓 on the west coast and it鈥檚 not as convenient. But, I鈥檓 excited to be here now."

Murray donned a colorful bucket hat and made a somewhat surprise entrance to the tournament. He wasn't publicly expected to play in the event, but showed up to the course on Wednesday morning, to the surprise of even some top tournament officials.

"It鈥檚 a nice temperature," Murray said in a quick session with the media, during which he had a typical jovial and comedy-filled back-and-forth. "It鈥檚 nice. It鈥檚 not too hot and not too humid. I have nothing to complain about."

He then commented on what he was most looking forward to this week, which didn't have much to do with golf.

"I was kind of thinking about getting a spicy breakfast burrito," Murray said. "That hasn鈥檛 materialized yet. But, I鈥檓 not giving up the dream."

Murray caught up with Costner on the practice range at the club, chatting about current projects and catching up.

Pe帽a, known for his roles in movies like Ant-Man, Shooter and Battle: Los Angeles, said golf is a big part of his lifestyle as an actor who often is on the road and away from home.

"I just love the camaraderie, the competition and I love coming to beautiful places like Myrtle Beach," Pe帽a said.

"I shot in Melbourne, Australia, last year for about five months. On your days off when your family isn鈥檛 there and no one is there, it鈥檚 nice to go out and golf, enjoy the sunshine, get steps in, burn some calories, do some grounding. That whole thing."

For Garth, Wednesday was an opportunity to enjoy the Dunes Club and be around familiar faces. She said she hadn't picked up a golf club in quite awhile, so her goal was simple: "enjoy the day and try not to take myself too seriously."

"I did some swinging and it wasn鈥檛 as terrible as I thought it might be," Garth said. "I鈥檓 really hoping to just have fun. I will have fun if I hit it well. I鈥檓 too competitive, and if I don鈥檛 hit it well, I鈥檓 going to be so mad. But, what are you going to do?"

The PGA Tour event kicks off on Thursday, with golf action running throughout the weekend and ending on Sunday.聽
