Shots were fired as a Myrtle Beach man fled on foot from an attempted robbery attempt early Saturday morning.
At about 2:25 a.m., the victim, 23, was walking home from his workplace at Kono Grill when a gold Toyota Camry approached as he was at 33rd Avenue North and Oak Street, near Pepper Geddings Recreation Center.
One of the suspects asked the victim if he knew were to find some weed.
The victim replied that he doesn't do that sort of thing. The suspects responded by displaying a silver handgun.
The victim fled toward Myrtle Beach Intermediate School. He heard two shots fired, but was unhurt.
According to the report, the first suspect was described as a heavy set black male with short dreadlocks. He was also wearing a red shirt with a red head band.
The second suspect was also a black male who had short, clean cut hair and a red shirt.
