Horry County chief deputy coroner Tamara Willard said 28-year-old Samantha Danowski from Lincoln, North Carolina died from injuries sustained at a crash involving an e-bike and motor vehicle. The crash occurred Monday, June 24 at around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of 46th Avenue South and Woodland Street.

According to a North Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report which took into account witness accounts, Danowski was traveling north on Woodland Street and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and 鈥渂roadsided a 2015 BMW X5...causing Danowski to strike the front portion of the front door frame along with the driver side mirror, and the front windshield closest to the A post of the vehicle before being launched about 10ft in front of the point of collision onto the roadway.鈥

The incident report states that a witness estimated Danowski was traveling about 25 miles per hour before the collision.
