An 87-year-old man died nearly two weeks after a Loris-area crash, the Horry County Coroner's Office reports.
Chief deputy coroner Tamara Willard said Loris resident Douglas Soles, 87, died Sunday, April 20, after being hospitalized from injuries sustained in a crash which occurred 12 days before.
The crash happened Tuesday, April 8, at the intersection of Highway 66 and Fox Bay Road.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
